Background noise contributes to stress levels as one strains to hear, process and understand communications in high noise. ANR is the science of detecting noise near the ear and creating an inverse phase ‘anti-noise’ field to cancel noise before it is heard. SGS applies the ‘closed loop’ gain control system to all military specific ANR systems. A closed loop system maximizes noise reduction by processing noise and signal, then sensing and refining the result.
