WiCOS AP/NT
Article No. USWiCOS AP/NT
General Description
The small stand-alone access point is the central interface of WiCOS. It establishes a wireless RF link on the basis of the WLAN protocols 802.11 a / g enhanced with further security layers to provide maximum protection from other devices. One of the three antennas is dedicated to continuously scan for RF interference. In order to avoid disturbance by RF interference the WiCOS AP automatically switches between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band. Thus stable wireless communication can be assured. A 128-bit key encrypted transmission is always active, which means that the conference is safe from unauthorized listeners. The access point can be operated straight out of the box or configured by customers needs. A password-secured advanced set-up menu provides the complete system configuration accessible with a standard internet browser. For advanced features like e.g. simultaneous translation and PC control the Access Point can be connected to the wired SDC 8200 conference system.
